At El Reyo Landscape, we pride ourselves on creating designs adapted to your specific issues and wishes. Here's one example of the way we work:

A recent client of ours faced a challenging and eroding slope as part of their unattractive and unusable yard. (They described it as "a scary spider pit." See "Before" images below.) They were interested in having an attractive landscape they could use for various outdoor activities, and they wanted a water feature as well.

First, we had to manage the slope and erosion issues. In order to handle slope drainage, we placed an underlayment of material that would enable any runoff water to move easily and safely below the yard surface. We then designed robust stone retaining walls to minimize erosion.

Once the erosion and drainage issues were resolved, we turned our attention to creating the attractive and useable yard our clients desired. We created a bocce ball court and a putting green, and placed elegant stone pavers aligning with the existing concrete. We knew our clients would want to be able to use their new space as much as possible, so we integrated electrical conduits for backyard lighting. We also replaced their deteriorating fence with a stunning new one.

In the front yard, we created a low-maintenance xeriscape, an expanded paver driveway, and an eye-catching pondless water feature.

Our clients were extremely happy with our work. They very much appreciate the enhanced beauty and functionality of their new landscape, and feel that we turned their property into a neighborhood gem. (See the "After" images below!)
